We felt more and more discouraged each time we were to changed our project theme. It was only around September, before we actually confirm and start working on this project now. In this project of global issues, we set out to educate students about global issues such as peace, racism and justice, but along the way we certainly learnt more and improve our own knowledge and attitude to the importance of being global savvy. We have conveyed the message of global issues through different forms of media, such as movie screenings, book reviews and blog. A seminar room was booked for 2 days to feature the movies ‘The Great Raid’ and ‘Thin Red Line’, specially chosen to bring out the importance of global issues. A blog is also created to ensure sustainability of this project so that people can easily access the website to have a better understanding and knowledge of global issues and to promote books on global issues. Our book reviews are uploaded on the NLB website* for the ‘What I’d Like The World To Read For The September Project’. We have managed to accomplish much of our initial goals and plans for the project and the response to the movie screening was better than what we expected to be - ten. Promoting of the blog was carried out on forum* too. Despite all the problems we had face during this project, we have gain much from this project, for instance learning better time management from the short period of time we had to complete the
